The Rialto bookcase by Cassina was initially designed by Carlo Scarpa in the 1970s as a piece of furniture for his home.
Rialto Bookcase by CARLO SCARPA
Following a request from designer Dino Gavina, Cassina's Rialto bookcase was modified so that it could be produced on an industrial scale. It features a central block composed of narrow shelves and drawers, perfect for storing small objects. The combinable modules of the Rialto bookcase, separated by a spacer, offer great flexibility as they allow you to create a variety of compositions. The structure, entirely made of wood, is available in three finishes: natural ash, black stained or entirely matt lacquered. Moreover, in the version with doors, it is possible to choose between wooden or tempered glass panels.
