Baleri Italia
In 1984 Enrico Baleri, architecture student at the Politecnico of Milan, and Marilisa Baleri Decimo founded the Baleri Italia company, that became a high quality design icon in the 90s thanks to its imaginative and original pieces of furniture. Baleri Italia is the expression of a modern and innovative design that reinterprets in a new way the domestic spaces.
The red rooster, trademark of the company, is symbol of good luck. From the beginning, the company collaborates with international designers, including a young Philippe Starck. Baleri in 2004 was acquired by the Italian entrepreneur and stylist Nino Cerruti, and in 2005 joins the group the American designer Jeff Miller, who will become one of the most popular artists thanks to the OBO modular bookcase and the Flipt chaise longue. The Baleri Italia products, with their lively design and strong stage presence, become the protagonists of the house. Among the most successful products there are Tato, a collection of funny and colourful pouf designed by Denis Santachiara, and the Richard III armchair by Philippe Starck.
