The Cab Tab table by Cassina represents the natural evolution of one of the most iconic projects of Mario Bellini and Italian design: the Cab chair from 1977. With this table, Cassina extends the aesthetic and technical language of the iconic seating to the dining dimension, transforming the artisanal complexity of leather into an architectural element. The result is an object with a sculptural, refined, and contemporary character that narrates the connection between manufacturing tradition and technological innovation. Its elegant and sculptural presence, combined with the uncompromising quality of the materials, makes this table an emblem of contemporary craftsmanship.

The Cab Tab table is the result of a long research process and excellent craftsmanship. Each leather part is cut with computer-controlled machines and then hand-finished before being sewn to create a perfectly fitted covering for the black painted iron structure. The visible leather stitching along the joints and the zippers that close the legs from the inside reveal the sartorial attention of the project, the same that made the Cab collection famous. Each table requires hours of specialized work and encapsulates the technical knowledge of Cassina artisans.
