LC4 Chaise Longue à Reglage Continu by LE CORBUSIER, PIERRE JEANNERET AND CHARLOTTE PERRIAND
The LC4 Chaise Longue à Réglage Continu, born from an idea by Charlotte Perriand in 1928 and now exclusively produced by Cassina, represents a perfect balance between form and function, a symbol of absolute comfort and stylistic innovation. Also known as the “deck chair chaise longue”, the LC4 was designed to perfectly follow the natural curves of the human body. It is no coincidence that it is often referred to as the “relaxation machine”.
From a design perspective, the LC4 Chaise Longue combines the minimalist aesthetics of the Modern Movement with a deep attention to functionality. The Cassina production, part of the I Maestri collection, ensures maximum fidelity to the original design thanks to high-level craftsmanship and the use of selected materials.
