The Esosoft Armchair of Cassina was born from the collaboration with Antonio Citterio and is distinguished by its balance of visual lightness, technical precision, and material research. The project interprets softness as an expression of contemporary elegance, with an aluminum structure that houses a padded shell covered in fabric, as if it were suspended on an exoskeleton. The fluid lines and balanced proportions create a welcoming and dynamic seat, perfectly in tune with the other elements of the collection designed by Citterio for Cassina.
The ergonomics of the Esosoft Armchair is studied in minute detail: the curvature of the backrest embraces the body and at the same time defines, at the back, an additional support point, informal and convivial. The thin aluminum base gives a sense of suspension, while the generosity of the padding provides a perception of natural comfort. Each component reflects the artisanal quality of Cassina. The leather armrests, available in six shades, are decorated with hand-stitched seams, made with extreme care to enhance the value of detail and the precision of the finishes.
