He sees the legs of the table as a reinterpretation of the thinness of ants' (Note: Formiche in Italian) legs, from which he takes the name.
This type of legs, also used for the design of the SAKé sofas system (by Piero Lissoni), is made of steel, with crossbars that strengthen the structure without overloading its appearance.
