To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Up Series, B&B Italia's Up 50 armchair stands out as an iconic piece of timeless design. This special edition features a striped beige and petrol green fabric, paying homage to the original 1969 color palette and highlighting the collection's innovative past. Gaetano Pesce, a renowned Italian designer and architect, is celebrated for his visionary approach to combining functionality with artistic expression.
The Up series is a perfect example of his bold and avant-garde design philosophy. Made from Bayfit® flexible cold-molded polyurethane foam, the chair offers exceptional comfort. Its internal structure, also made from Bayfit® foam, ensures elasticity and durability. This chair, like other B&B Italia armchairs, represents the best of Made in Italy design, combining aesthetics and innovation.
