The lines of the Papilio Bed draw inspiration from the unmistakable Papilio by Naoto Fukasawa, sharing the same name and reminiscent of butterfly wings. In the bed version, these wings are reflected in the headboard, which is both welcoming and enveloping.
The conic shape that characterizes the Papilio bed is slightly reduced if compared to the armchair lines, and the bed frame, of minimum thickness, allows the mattress to be placed at its inside, bringing it almost at the same level of the structure. In the whole shape, clean and rigorous lines stand out. The Papilio bed covering is available in fabric or leather, in both cases of limited categories able to perfectly adapt to the original structure.
