The Husk Bed by B&B Italia, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is the evolution of a larger project: research into softness that had already given rise to the armchair of the same name. The upholstered headboard is the central element of the design. Its geometry is both simple and articulated: soft in volume, but rigorous in the rhythm of the stitching that runs through it. The result is a bed with a strong character, capable of making a visual statement in the bedroom without weighing down the space.
The Husk Double Bed is part of a series of products with a consistent design language, conceived by the Spanish designer to explore the boundary between comfort and form. The sommier accompanies the headboard with visual continuity, maintaining balanced proportions. The Husk bed is suitable for modern and contemporary bedrooms, where the headboard becomes the focal point of the room, with the same naturalness with which a tailored garment defines an outfit.

The Husk Bed by B&B Italia is available in three double sizes, suitable for different space and comfort requirements:
Bed: cm. 192×233×107h (for mattress size: cm. 180x200).
Queen Size Bed: cm. 165×233×107h (for mattress size: cm. 160x200).
King Size Bed: cm. 205×233×107h (for mattress: cm. 190x200).
The Husk Bed can be customized with a wide selection of fabric or leather coverings, available in numerous color variations from the B&B Italia collection.

Features of the Husk Bed
Removable Upholstery: The cover of the Husk Bed by B&B Italia is not removable.
Technical Features: The internal structure of the Husk bed is made of tubular steel. The feet are made of aluminum, with thermoplastic tips. The slatted support crossbar is made of tubular steel.
Technology and Comfort: The quilted headboard of the Husk bed offers soft and enveloping support, ideal for reading or relaxing before bedtime. The generous volume of the headboard supports the back in a natural way, without stiffness, easily adapting to everyday postures.
