Notch Shelf Bookcase by NERI & HU

Presented during the 2019 edition of the Milan Design Week, Notch Shelf is a bookcase that impresses with its essentiality and functionality.
The design team of the Neri & Hu studio, founded in 2004 by the designers Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, createded for Riva 1920 a piece of furniture in which aesthetic minimalism is aimed at emphasizing the material from which it is made. This bookcase, in fact, is composed solely of two vertical shaped poles that support press-fitted shelves; each element is made of briccola wood, a particular material derived from the oak poles present in the Venetian lagoon placed to indicate the tides and waterways to the boats.
The Notch Shelf bookcase is available in three different models that vary in height and number of shelves, allowing you to choose the option that best fits into your environment.
