The Mesa Ellipse Table, developed by Lella Valle and Massimo Vignelli for Poltrona Frau, is a masterpiece of minimalist and refined design. This model stands out for its slender elliptical shape, where the purity of lines interacts with the elegance of materials, creating a highly sophisticated piece of furniture. The striking single-leg base supports a marble top available in various sizes and finishes, each featuring unique veining that highlights the natural and irreplaceable beauty of the material.
The Mesa Ellipse Dining Table combines simplicity with exclusivity: the marble top, protected by special treatments to preserve its surface, rests on a painted steel structure that is both sturdy and lightweight. The whole Mesa collection is born from Poltrona Frau’s careful philological work, which, starting from the original sketches by the Vignellis, has reintroduced this iconic shape in an updated and versatile version, able to stylishly fit into both contemporary and classic settings.

The Mesa Ellipse Table is available in two different sizes:
8-seater Table: cm. 210x120x75h.
10-seater Table: cm. 250x130x75h.
The Mesa Ellipse Dining Table can be customized in size, marble top finish, and base upholstery to suit various styles and environments.

Features of the Mesa Ellipse Table
Technical Features: The Mesa Ellipse dining table features an elliptical marble top in various polished or semi-polished finishes, treated to ensure resistance and protection against liquids. The support structure includes a high-pressure laminate underlay and a column base customizable in marble, leather, or Pelle Frau®, internally stabilized with a counterweight system. The connection between the top and base is made with a sturdy metal frame and high-quality finishes.
