Taccia Table Lamp by PIER GIACOMO&ACHILLE CASTIGLIONI
The Taccia table lamp was designed in 1962 by the two masters of design Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Made in Italy lighting brand Flos.Taccia is characterized by a particular structure made up of a dome-shaped directionable glass diffuser, closed by a reflector in white painted metal that gives off the light produced by the luminous body in the whole environment. The glass diffuser is made using the traditional mouth-blowing method, while the body in matt black, silver anodized or bronze anodized painted aluminum is combined with a base in polished, nickel-plated steel. The Taccia collection includes two additional models, one with a diffuser in plastic material, and the other with smaller dimensions.
