The Scaccomatto Chess Table created by designer Pino Vismara for Vismara Design is a distinctive product that combines the game of chess with modern luxury in an original way. Equipped with a rising mechanism powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the table offers a unique dynamism that can be controlled simply by a side button or an optional remote control. The chessboard is made of high quality materials: it is inlaid with ebony and mother of pearl, and protected by tempered glass. Even the anodised aluminum pawns bear the Vismara signature.
Available in a round or square version, with or without the lift-up mechanism, the Scaccomatto Chess Table results from a skillful combination of refinement and design, drawn to offer gaming experiences beyond the ordinary. The uniqueness of Scaccomatto, compared to other game tables, is its extreme versatility: it can be used both as a coffee table and as a chess table.

The Scaccomatto Game Table is available in the following size: inch 36,2" in diameter, 17.7/33,4" in high (cm. Ø92x45/85h).
It is possible to choose between a square or round version of the board, and between a version with or without a rising mechanism. The top is available in fourteen different colours and in three different lacquer versions: matt, light and glossy. The convenient remote control and the sophisticated tray functional as a backgammon game board are also available for purchase.
