The Natal Alu outdoor chair by Studio Segers for Tribù features linear forms and an aluminium frame that creates a fascinating contrast to the curved seat in Batyline, which appears as if suspended above it. In 1999, the stainless steel variant with a teak seat was awarded the Henry van de Velde Design Prize. Even today, the design retains its relevance, despite the use of materials that require easier maintenance. Batyline repels dirt, dries quickly and is resistant to expansion and UV radiation. The aluminium frame is immune to rust and has an elegant matt finish thanks to the powder coating. In addition, the chair is easily stackable for convenient storage.
