New Poliform collection at Milan Design Week
Among the brands that have surprised the most in the 2024 Milan Design Week edition, there is certainly Poliform, a company founded in Como in 1970, which has distinguished itself over the years for the production of furniture and furnishings of extremely high quality, characterized by modern and functional design.
Poliform has indeed proposed a rather original selection of products, such as the Ernest sofa, created in collaboration with the French designer Jean-Marie Massaud, which makes modularity its strength, ensuring a high potential for personalization of space. The Orbis sofa, born from the creative genius of Emmanuel Gallina, with its curved lines and soft shapes, is capable of creating an intimate and welcoming space within the living room, to be shared in the company of loved ones; the Orbis armchair also belongs to the same collection, featuring a comfortable seat with a rounded design. Moving from sofas to armchairs, the Loai armchair is a seat designed for low dining, based on the contrast between compact dimensions and extra-large seating, while the Kaori Lounge armchair offers perfect integration between the external leather shell and the internal, padded and upholstered shell: for maximum comfort, the coordinated pouf is also available.
Poliform also considers the bedroom with the Brera bed, offering not only rest but also a sophisticated style. In the living area, on the other hand, the undisputed protagonist is in this case certainly the Adrien table, rendered not only as a work of art but also as a functional and durable element through the meticulous selection of materials and their impeccable execution. The Adrien table combines perfectly with the other furnishings surrounding it, such as the Curve stool, which thanks to its simple and essential lines easily adapts to both modern and classic settings, but also the Leopold chair and the Ipanema chair, where the use of precious materials that characterize every creation of the Como brand is further enhanced.
In the context of living room furniture, the Duke sideboard by Poliform stands out as a central element, thanks to its remarkable visual impact and sophisticated details, while the Aiko 2024 sideboard, a reissue of the iconic Aiko sideboard, is characterized by exceptional attention to detail: ideal as a minibar, the sideboard is characterized by fine finishes, complemented by a marble top. In every respectable living room, a coffee table cannot be missing: for this reason, Poliform has also presented during the 2024 Milan Design Week the Ernest coffee table and the Strata coffee table, two elegant elements with a deeply Italian style.
Poliform News: trends, updates, developments
The place in the house where we spend the most time, as we know, is however the kitchen. Whether it's for cooking food or gathering with family, the kitchen always remains a fundamental corner of the house: the Poliform R&D team pays homage to the importance of the kitchen by proposing the 2024 Artex Pro kitchen, a system with a contemporary and captivating aesthetic, evolution of the previous Artex kitchen, and the 2024 Alea Pro kitchen. With the arrival of the beautiful season, thanks to the Ketch outdoor sunbed, it will be possible to relax in the garden without sacrificing comfort and beauty, while among the accessories produced by Poliform, you can also find the Trace carpet, manually produced through the handloom jacquard technique which makes it even more precious.
As every year, Poliform has certainly not disappointed the expectations of design enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Milan Design Week, confirming once again as one of the most interesting brands in the Italian and international panorama.
