The Ligne Roset Togo Armchair is a furniture icon designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973, characterized by a covering that recalls the wrinkles of a body.
Togo Armchair by MICHEL DUCAROY
The Michel Ducaroy Togo Armchair, designed by Ligne Roset, stands out for its modern design and wide, comfortable seat, enhanced by polyurethane foam padding. The Togo Armchair's defining feature is undoubtedly its wrinkles, giving it a wrinkled, informal, and paradoxically youthful appearance. First created in 1973, the Togo Chair immediately became a symbol of a nonconformist, hippie-inspired furnishing style, in stark contrast to the aesthetic rigor of the time. The success of the Togo Armchair prompted the French company to create the Mini Togo armchair: a playful and cheerful version, smaller in size for children aged 5 to 12.
The Ligne Roset Togo Armchair is one of those pieces of furniture that are impossible to replicate. French designer Michel Ducaroy's inspiration for the Togo Armchair came from a simple, everyday object: a used, rolled-up toothpaste tube. Perfect alone or in a set with a sofa and chaise longue, the Togo Chair adds a touch of personality to living spaces. The Togo collection also includes a sofa, a chaise longue, and an ottoman. The Togo is more than just a designer piece: it's a comfortable, practical armchair designed for everyday use.
The Togo Armchair has the following dimensions and configurations
The Togo Armchair is available in several sizes, including:
Standard Togo Armchair: cm. 87x102x70h.
Mini Togo Armchair: cm. 61x68x46h.
The Ligne Roset Togo Chair can be customized by choosing between different sizes and colors, as well as various upholstery materials.

The Togo Armchair has a variety of features
Removable Upholstery: The Togo Armchair's upholstery is removable.
Technical Features: The Togo Chair does not have a rigid structure: it is made entirely of foam, without legs or a frame. This makes it light but stable, perfect for relaxing.
Comfort: Thanks to the elasticity of the polyurethane foam, the Togo Armchair is extremely cosy and enveloping, as if it were a large cushion. Comfort is total, thanks to the ergonomic shape that follows the body. The seat is soft thanks to the polyester wadding, but also supportive. The angle is particularly anatomical.
