Nami Suspension Lamp Kundalini
DESIGNER: ALBERTO SAGGIA & VALERIO SOMMELLA
Nami Suspension Lamp by ALBERTO SAGGIA & VALERIO SOMMELLA
The Nami suspension lamp was born from the collaboration between the designers Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella, who conceived it for the Italian design lighting brand Kundalini. The name derives from the Japanese word "nami", or "wave", a noun that perfectly describes the structure of this extraordinary piece of furniture, composed of a curved glass diffuser characterized by a particular striped texture that refracts the internal light and multiplies the luminous reflections in the atmosphere. The central body is enclosed in a 150 cm long structure made of painted metal and available in brass or matt black finish. Its defined and elegant curves make the lamp suitable for any type of environment, domestic or formal.
Kundalini
Kundalini is one of the Italian companies specialized in the creation of design lightings , which was founded in 1996 in Trezzano sul Naviglio by the desire to translate into concrete objects a strong and innovative idea, according to which light is an element able to give shape to the perceived world and, thus, make its understanding possible.
