The Ripples bench is an innovative and original design item: it isn't a piece of furniture created by the industrial process but a true work of art designed by the brilliant Japanese architect Toyo Ito. The Ripples bench, winner of the 2004 Compasso d'Oro, is part of the wide furniture collection of the renowned company Horm, and is available both fpr the indoor and outdoor.The soft movement on the surface characterized this seat making it an unmistakable piece of art. The seats are obtained wood hand working in order to obtain an elegant and homogeneous movement. The Ripples bench is made of multilayer of five different solid woods: walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak and ash, mixed together to gain an elegant polychromatic effect.
