The eccentric designer Karim Rashid conceives every year unique and original projects, and one of the most popular is the Blend storage unit designed for the Italian manufacture Horm.
The Blend storage unit is characterized by the dynamic effect of the surface, obtained using many thin sheets of MDF. The sheets have different shapes in order to obtain a soft movement that animates the surfaces: the theme of dynamism is the predominant feature of all the projects by Rashid. This storage unit combines functionality and aesthetics, as the perfect handles inserted between the sheets, or the bi-color lacquering finish for the inside and the outside surface.
The Blend collection consist of a wardrobe and a storage unit.
