New Giorgetti collection at Milan Design Week
Among the brands that stood out the most at this year's 2024 Salone del Mobile in Milan is undoubtedly Giorgetti, a company founded by Luigi Giorgetti in 1988 in Meda, in the Brianza region. Known for its creations that are both furniture pieces and works of art, Giorgetti has consistently offered high-quality Made in Italy products over the years. At Salone del Mobile 2024, the Brianza-based brand presented a series of products that positively surprised and delighted architects, designers, and all other industry experts.
Starting with seating, Giorgetti introduced the Clori armchair, created in collaboration with designer Carlo Colombo. It is a swivel bergère with a return mechanism, featuring a pewter-painted five-star metal base with solid Canaletto walnut wood inserts. Additionally, there is the Plume chair, designed by Studio Dainelli, described by the designers as: “The lightness of a feather embraces a perfect structure: a combination of comfort and strength, suspended between comfort and elegance, for a harmony suspended in time”. Silvia Musetti designed the Liz-Bench, intended for intimate and comfortable spaces, distinguished by the softness of its cylindrical forms that make any environment welcoming.
In its 2024 collection, Giorgetti also offered a wide selection of tables and coffee tables, among which the Mistral table stands out. It is distinguished by its combination of sophisticated design and premium materials. The marble top, available in various options such as Calacatta and Grigio Orobico, further elevates the table's aesthetics, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The Chanterelle coffee table, born from the creative genius of Staffan Tollgard & Filippo Castellani, is a piece inspired by the natural world, capable of surprising with interesting light effects. The Ghiblim coffee table, created by Giorgetti in collaboration with Forma77 studio, features a unique geometry that creates a three-dimensional effect, while the Drop coffee table, a result of collaboration with designer Giancarlo Bosio, is a lively and informal piece perfect for furnishing modern indoor spaces.

Moving on to living room furniture, among the most interesting is undoubtedly the Hikari bar cabinet designed by HBA Studio. It not only functions as an elegant bar cabinet but can also transform into a visually impactful sideboard. The Karphi Nap bed, presented at 2024 Milan Design Week, embodies a perfect harmony between modern and enveloping lines, offering rejuvenating rest in a context of refined beauty. Last but not least, the Libra lamp, a floor lamp characterized by tangents and balances that can illuminate an entire room, and the Upward lamp, with a sculptural character composed of nine spheres of different diameters made of borosilicate glass.
