Taraxacum 88 S1 Suspension Lamp by ACHILLE CASTIGLIONI

The Taraxacum 88 S1 suspension lamp was created by the famous Italian designer Achille Castiglioni in 1988 for Flos, an Italian company internationally renowned and appreciated in the design lighting sector.
The lamp represents one of the most fascinating creations of Castiglioni, who, drawing inspiration from the peculiar shape of the dandelion flower, conceived a design object that reminds its name and figure. The 88 S1 model is equipped with direct and reflected lighting coming from the 60 Globolux bulbs arranged as a sphere around the central structure, composed of triangles in polished and printed aluminum. The collection also includes a larger version, the wall and ceiling lamp, and the model with diffused light.
