The Luchino Armchair by Flexform, designed by Antonio Citterio, originates from a type of folding chair that was once used as a camp chair, before becoming popular with the advent of cinema as the famous director's chair. The name Luchino seems to be a tribute to Italian director Luchino Visconti. The Luchino armchair is a new, elegant, and modern interpretation of an object that speaks of simple lives, practical actions, and everyday gestures.
In addition to the incredible timeless charm of its design, the Luchino Armchair is lightweight yet very stable, comfortable yet not at all bulky. Its casual-chic style makes it ideal for furnishing either on its own, in a corner of a room, or in combination with other furniture, such as next to a sofa. Seemingly minimalist, the Luchino armchair reveals in its details the refinement of the woodwork and the precision of the metal hardware that allows it to open and close.

Features of the Luchino Armchair
Removable Upholstery: The Luchino Armchair does not have removable covers.
Technical Features: Solid wood frame, lathe-turned and finished by hand to enhance its craftsmanship. The connecting elements, such as screws and joints, are made of metal, while the joints of the folding mechanism are made of die-cast zamak, a resistant and precise alloy. Seat and backrest in leather. The base rests on thermoplastic tips, designed to protect the floor and ensure stability.
Technology and Comfort: The Luchino Armchair is equipped with specially designed technical joints that allow it to be folded easily, making it practical to move and store without sacrificing the elegance of its design. The high quality of the leather, soft yet durable, makes the seat comfortable.
