The Loungescape Sofa by Antonio Citterio for Flexform is a piece of furniture designed to shape the domestic space. The name Loungescape comes from the fusion of “lounge” (relaxation area) and “landscape,” suggesting that the sofa is not just a piece of furniture, but a system that transforms and characterizes the entire environment, just as a landscape defines a place. Its design is unique: it consists of a monocoque structure that combines soft volumes in a harmonious whole.
The Loungescape Sectional Sofa is characterized by its well-defined shapes, designed to offer comfort, balance, and beauty. The sloping base is the real detail that makes the difference: it lifts the sofa off the ground and makes it visually lighter, while maintaining a solid and decisive appearance. Despite its organic lines, Loungescape is a surprisingly modern sofa with an almost futuristic style. Features of the Loungescape Couch
Removable Upholstery: The Loungescape Sofa has a removable cover in both the fabric and leather versions.
Technical Features: The frame is made of wood and metal, while the padding is polyurethane foam with different densities to ensure comfort and support. The inner cover is a protective fabric, covered by an outer layer of sterilized goose down, Assopiuma certified with a gold label, available on request at an additional cost. The sofa rests on the floor on thermoplastic feet, which are resistant and durable.
Comfort: The comfort of the Loungescape sofa is determined by the differentiated density padding that combines support and softness, the stable and ergonomic structure, and the breathable and enveloping upholstery, all designed to offer a pleasant and relaxing seat.
