Based on an idea by Michele De Lucchi, the Exisstence bookcase was created by the Italian company De Castelli, world-famous for introducing the use of metal into the design furniture sector. Long experimentation and the revival of traditions have resulted in a unique collection.

The Existence bookcase was designed by architect Michele De Lucchi, who gave up the stereotype of the linear bookcase in favor of an original and innovative piece of furniture that responded to the need that books are not all the same and need different spaces.
This bookcase consists of many overlapping spaces of different heights and sizes, arranged in a disorderly fashion to create an unusual and refined bookcase. The Existence bookcase is made of iron, either corten or acid-etched, and is available in three versions: room center, wall and corner.
