The structure of the S-Chair is made of dark painted metal, giving this creation a modern and resistant touch. The original version of the chair is upholstered in swamp straw, a natural material that adds warmth and character to the object. Alternatively, other variants are available, including wicker or fixed covers made from a selection of fine leathers and fabrics from the collection. What makes the swamp straw version so special is the weaving process, which is completely handmade. This meticulous work requires about six hours of attention and craftsmanship for each chair, a tribute to the handmade past in an increasingly industrialised world.
