The exclusive selection of upholstered furniture Saba, signed by Nicola Pavan, is enriched with the introduction of the Metis Sofa. The name of the Metis sofa takes us back in time, perfectly outlining the main purpose for which it was created: in ancient Greek, the word “mètis” means “flexible intelligence.” An eminently practical knowledge, aimed at the moment and the changing and unpredictable situations that require immediate action: this is the concept that drove designer Nicola Pavan to design this piece of furniture. The extreme modularity that characterizes it allows for the creation of almost infinite configurations that can adapt to any space or taste requirement. The generous volumes of the Metis sofa are enhanced by the quilting that adorns the seat, backrests, and armrests.
The new modular system Metis allows for solutions ranging from the more traditional linear version to more elaborate combinations. The basic elements, with one or two seats, can be rotated and connected through specially designed hooks to achieve surprising aesthetic expressions.
The upholstery is available in fabrics from the Saba collection that enhance the softness and volume of the Metis Sofa.
