The Flap Sofa designed by Francesco Binfaré is one of the flagship models of the prestigious Italian company Edra, a leader in Made in Italy design. Launched in 2000 by the manufacturing house, designed by the designer Francesco Binfaré, the Flap sofa certainly stands out for the originality of its shapes and for a remarkable functional flexibility. Ideal as a seat for the center of the room, where it draws attention with its curves, the Flap sofa has sinuous and soft shapes and allows you to adjust the movable elements of its modules to lie down, sit normally, or simply use them as a support: the seating elements, in fact, inspired by the flaps of an airplane wing, can assume up to six positions, giving a different personality to this sofa, which can potentially be modified infinitely.
The Flap Sofa, in its Sky Kiss version, represents the most contemporary expression of the collection. Covered in white leather, it is enriched with prints inspired by pop art that transform the surface into a large canvas: a romantic kiss under a starry sky, between a man and a woman with wind-blown blonde hair. Extreme luxury, on the other hand, is found in the Diamond Flap version, in which the sofa is a true jewel. Available in silver and gold colors (Diamond and Diamond Gold), it boasts a covering created in collaboration between Edra and the company Swarowsky. Making the seat magnificently eccentric is the special high-strength Kevlar fiber fabric, and the presence of a myriad of small crystals embedded in the yarn with hot-fix technology, which permanently affixes them to the fabric, preserving its beauty and durability over time.

Technical Features: The structure of the Flap sofa is made of steel with integrated mechanisms. The base is made of brushed and chrome-plated metal. The feet of the sofa are made of chrome-plated metal, equipped with scratch-resistant aluminum and rubber caps to protect floor surfaces. The undercovering is made of polyamide, while the back is finished in Lycra.
Comfort: The Flap Sofa features elastic and breathable polyurethane padding, designed to provide relief and support to the body while sitting.
