The Cradle Sofa, designed by the contemporary design duo from Shanghai Neri&Hu, in collaboration with Arflex, is a true piece of functional and original design at the same time. As its name “cradle” suggests, it evokes the image of a cradle thanks to the wooden frame that wraps around the seat, highlighting the contrast between strength and lightness.
The main characteristic of the Cradle Sofa from Arflex is precisely the dualism of solidity and lightness that coexist in a single piece. The lines are clean, the profile is decisive. The Eastern inspiration is noticeable, but it is subtle, never intrusive. Neri&Hu have created a non-trivial and functional seating system at the same time.

Technical Features: The Cradle Sofa has a metal structure that wraps around and supports the seat and back cushions. The backrest is supported by a black leather or dark brown belt. The feet are made of black painted aluminum casting with protective gliders.
Comfort: The seat padding is made of shaped polyurethane with differentiated density, and for added comfort, the sofa can be accompanied by a lumbar cushion and a service armrest in ash.
