Cassina New Arrivals Salone del Mobile 2023

SHARE

The 2023 Milan Design Week is for Cassina an opportunity to present the latest innovations but also to celebrate the past. On the occasion of the most awaited event for professionals and enthusiasts of the design furniture sector, the Italian company surprised with new products that combine aesthetics and functionality according to Cassina style and even with an unprecedented collection of lights, but also with reinterpretations of the Cassina I Maestri Collection, which this year celebrates 50 years of history.

Cassina's novelties presented at the 2023 Design Week, include projects by internationally renowned designers with whom the brand already boasts numerous collaborations such as Antonio Citterio and Patricia Urquiola, and new names such as Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the English duo who created the Tamburound armchair with an ingenious 360° rotation mechanism that gives it a dynamic and playful style.

Antonio Citterio has expanded the Esosoft collection, enriching the living area with an armchair and bringing back the slightly 60s style of the line also to the bedroom area with the creation of the Esosoft bed.

Patricia Urquiola, on the other hand, presented the Moncloud sofa, an emblem of elegance and comfort but also of eco-sustainability: the Spanish designer and Cassina are increasingly working towards a more conscious approach to the environment through a circular design that uses recyclable materials: Moncloud is the fruit of this new trend.

Among the other novelties introduced at the 2023 Milan Design Week, the Capitol Complex sofa stands out, which is part of the homonymous collection designed by Pierre Jeanneret as a tribute to Le Corbusier, and the Hayama collection consisting of a console, a sideboard, and a cabinet also available in the bar version. Cassina also presents its first art lighting collection with the Eitie line by the architect Tobia Scarpa which includes wall, pendant, table and floor lamps.

To pay homage to the 50-year history of the Cassina iMaestri collection, great icons are revisited, including the Table Monta coffee table, the Principi chair and the Maralunga 50 sofa, reinterpreted by Vico Magistretti in a new limited edition version, produced in red nabuk leather, a color with a special meaning for the Milanese architect and urban planner.
