The Milan Design Week is an annual event that takes place in the Italian city and showcases the latest innovations in the world of design and furniture. The 2023 edition saw the B&B Italia company present its latest projects which, as artistic director Piero Lissoni stated, aim to surprise as much as possible. It is following this philosophy that new, original sofas and armchairs with contemporary designs were born, such as the Dambo sofa and the Tortello sofa.

Piero Lissoni's Dambo is a modular system with an elegant design and generous proportions, whose rectangular or irregular pentagonal modules offer the possibility to create many configurations. The Tortello sofa, designed by the famous duo of designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, is a masterpiece of design that combines functionality and aesthetics; it is also easily recyclable, demonstrating B&B Italia's commitment to environmental sustainability.

The new collection of seating is completed by the Eryt armchair, which draws inspiration from the Nordic design of the 1950s and Japanese culture, creating a unique and distinctive product. Monica Armani's interesting projects are also presented, including the Heri O' chair and an indoor version of the Flair O' chair in the couture model, paired with the Allure O' table.

Among the novelties introduced by B&B Italia at the 2023 Milan Design Week, Lemante stands out, a minimalist but extremely attractive coffee table born from the simple idea of Kensaku Oshiro to juxtapose two squares rotated by 45 degrees. The sleeping area is also enriched with interesting reinterpretations, such as the Alys 10 bed, which on the occasion of its tenth anniversary is presented in a new version with a more prominent base.

The new B&B Italia products are characterized by innovative and modern designs that seek to create a balance between comfort and style. They are all examples of how the company continues to push towards new horizons and propose increasingly sophisticated solutions for home furnishings.
