How to decorate the entrance hall: first impression counts!

When you enter a house, the entrance is the environment that determines the first impression that you get of the owners and their home. Small, large, wide or narrow as it is, it is a real calling card for our home.

Especially if you are used to receiving people at home or organizing dinners, it is important to choose the accessories for entry, to give a proper welcome and make this space interesting and attractive, not just a "transition zone".

Start with the color of the walls: it must be warm and welcoming, to entice people to come in. A wall that is cold with dark tones will getan oppositee effect. Often the entry does not have a window from which to receive natural light, so a light color of the walls will help brightness.

As already mentioned, the light is critical in an entry hall. A beautiful lamp along with neutral light is what it takes. You can also use the console to rest a table lamp, which will make the atmosphere more soft and intimate.

Plants are a nice idea to decorate the entrance. Avoid placing plants that need much light.

As for entrance accessories, an umbrella stand, a coat rack and a console holder will be essential. In addition to serving as an ornament, it will allow you to empty your pockets and store anything you don't want to lose.
