The terrace, often overlooked but rich in potential, is a valuable extension of our home. Together we will explore how to transform this outdoor space into a liveable and cosy environment. The project includes three main elements: the<\/strong> use of modern materials<\/strong> such as steel, cement, glass, and wood; the choice of innovative design furniture<\/strong> matching the home style; and finally the strong bond between indoor and outdoor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terrace was conceived as a true and proper \u201cen plein air\u201d living area<\/strong>. It was subdivided into functions: an area to relax with sofas and armchairs from the Roda collection, the raised Jacuzzi,<\/strong> and the dining area<\/strong> with tables and chairs in a more sheltered zone.<\/p>\n\n\n

Three materials were mostly used: basalt<\/strong> for the paving, solid iroko<\/strong> for the platform and finishings of the Jacuzzi, and white-painted stainless steel<\/strong> for the furniture and day zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wooden base<\/strong> flows dynamically along the perimeter of the terrace creating a slight difference in height which grants the possibility of creating a platform for flowerpots and the Jacuzzi. Shade<\/strong> is provided by a wooden, metal, and glass pergola<\/strong> complete with ceiling recessed roller blinds guaranteeing light in winter and shade in the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
