Minimalism is a lifestyle, a cultural movement, and a philosophy. The minimalist design aims to create a calm, serene environment by stripping away the unnecessary and focusing on what truly matters. The emphasis is on <strong>quality over quantity<\/strong>, prioritizing high-quality, durable materials rather than an abundance of items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to home decor,<strong> minimalism<\/strong> means furnishing with the bare minimum, where order reigns supreme and every object can be reached easily. In a minimal house, everything must be smooth and easy, with <strong>ultra-modern materials<\/strong> for coatings and furniture, with no decorations or paintings (Allowed abstract paintings without glass and frame), the appliances must be of the latest generation and the colors must be neutral and absolutely measured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomassini.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/divano-ananta-3526-1441009909.jpg\" alt=\"divano-ananta-3526-1441009909\" class=\"wp-image-8002\" style=\"aspect-ratio:3\/2;object-fit:cover;width:1200px\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials and finishings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from the concept that everything must be cleaned easily, minimal style requires resistant materials such as cement, plaster on the walls, and the use of resins for coatings. Everything must convey a feeling of uniformity, linearity, and cleaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Metal<\/strong> is the main material that makes up the kitchen and its accessories, while work surfaces can be used Corian or Silestone, easy to clean and strong enough. We have the furniture along the walls to free up the center of the room unless we have an open space or a loft: in these cases, in fact, we can afford to use the center of the room perhaps to have the dining table. A few exceptions to the rule are granted to \u201cwarm up\u201d the space: we can give a touch of color to the home using curtains or pillows to put on the sofa with a shade that breaks the white, black, and gray, very good colors in shades of beige and brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The choice of the forms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We talked about colors, but the shapes of the furnishings are of particular importance in a house decorated in a minimalist style. <strong>Regular and geometric lines<\/strong> are preferred. Nothing is left to chance and every piece of furniture becomes an island in the environment where the watchword is regularity. Its main founder was Richard Wollheim. Minimalism means eliminating anything that is not essential. It is a style that reflects the character of a person, and his\/her lifestyle.
